Project Description

Due to high nitrate levels in the City’s groundwater supply of the community potable water system and limited storage capacity in the City’s existing 100 year old water tower, the project included the design and construction related services for a new centralized Reverse Osmosis (RO) water treatment plant, 150,000 gallon underground clearwell, and a new 50,000 gallon single pedestal water tower. The project, completed in 2019, resulted in the City receiving the 2020 KRWA Most Improved Water System award.
