Columbian Addition

Columbian Addition, a 39-lot single-family subdivision, and the adjacent 34-lot Columbian Townhomes are located in western Wamego, Kansas. The property is bordered on two sides by an elementary school, and there were significant elevation differences between the three sites. It was important that the new development be separated from the school grounds. Large stone retaining walls, manufactured locally, were used to overcome the elevation challenges and create an effective buffer between the residential development and the school.
