Schwab-Eaton provided site and landscape design for this 30-acre mixed-use development in Manhattan, Kansas. The project is home to a variety of uses including a bank, professional offices, restaurants, and retail stores. Schwab-Eaton worked closely with several developers from the initial surveying and design phases of the project through construction of each lot. Site development included paving for streets and parking lots, storm drainage systems, utility infrastructure, pedestrian ways, retaining walls, preservation of a natural drainage corridor, entry and directional signage, site lighting, and site landscape and irrigation. The overall built project is an attractive addition to the Manhattan community that provides a unique blend of shopping options for residents and visitors.
