Project Description

Schwab Eaton is the City Engineer for the City of Augusta. We were hired to put a design team together for the development of the new Garvin Park Buildings, which consisted of a Concession/Restroom/Storage building by the baseball fields and a stand-alone Restroom facility by the park play facilities. Schwab Eaton was the lead contact per City’s request. We were responsible for all Civil Design including building pad and site grading, parking and sidewalks, storm drain, water service and sanitary service (which included a small lift station). We coordinated all the meetings with the City and different design principles. These included the architect (PBA), structural engineer (Mauler Engineering) and MEP (Orazem and Scalora). We also had coordinated with agencies that had oversight of the improvements, which included City of Augusta and KDHE.
