Project Description

Whispering Meadows is a 135-acre residential development at the northwest corner of Lake Elbo Road and Harvest Road in Pottawatomie County. Schwab Eaton has been involved in this development since it’s inception, preparing a concept layout, determining a sanitary sewer phasing plan and preparing a drainage study and detention plan for the overall site. SE has prepared a final plat and designed the sewer, water and street infrastructure for the first seven units of Whispering Meadows, including 184 individual lots. A new unit of construction is designed and built every 2 years, on average, and as the lots are sold to builders, SE designs the next unit.

Schwab Eaton’s ongoing relationship with the developer means that Whispering Meadows has benefited from consistent, uniform design, and long-term planning. With three remaining units yet to be constructed, Whispering Meadows is anticipated to be complete by 2028.
